One week stay at the Biomolecular Photonics Group of Prof. Huser at Universität Bielefeld in Bielefeld.
Our goal was to image both 2D and 3D samples with LSEC that were prepared in Brussels and Bielefeld. Fixed LSECs and frozen LSECs were brought to Bielefeld for Super Resolution Imaging of samples for the detection of fenestrae. Fenestrae were detected in LSECs fixed in Brussels. Spheroids and liver slices were imaged with 2 photon microscopy for better penetration of light waves through the samples, this resulted in better immunofluorescent images of LSECs in spheroids an liver slices.
