The Training Programme mainly intended to empower undergraduate law students and teachers of universities located in Burundi, DR Congo, Kenya, Ouganda, Tanzania and Rwanda with relevant and practical knowledge about national, regional, and international instruments which may be used to prevent or to punish violations of international humanitarian law and human rights that this region has been facing since the 1990s.
