Description

During this 3 month internship, I learned the ligature model for middle cerebral artery occlusion in mice at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares under supervision of prof. Maria Angeles Moro. Next to this surgical procedure, training also included animal behavioral testing and ex vivo analyses concerning neurogenesis and ischemic stroke.
