Prospective LCA network (External organisation)

Activity: MembershipWork on academic committees and working groups

Since May 2022, Anne is part of the organizational team of the prospective LCA network. The prospective LCA network is a group of researchers and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practitioners interested in harmonization and methodology development for prospective LCA studies. The network started in 2022, with an initial gathering at the SETAC EU meeting in Copenhagen. The primary purpose of the network is knowledge sharing. Current activities include organizing online seminars, presentations, discussions, and workshops, sharing relevant literature and research papers, as well as news and updates about research and other events in the prospective LCA domain. The network also performs some research into prospective LCA, especially focusing on clarifying the boundaries of the discipline. The network is non-profit and run by volunteers, including an organizing team that meets bimonthly. The main activity of the organizing team is planning our knowledge-sharing activities and defining the direction and purpose of the network itself.
