Description
During the three month stay I was hosted by Prof. Tamar Degani and her Multilingual Lab. The main purpose of the stay was to work on a project initiated in collaboration with Tamar Degani, Mathieu Declerck (current main PhD supervisor), and Neil Kirk (Abertay University). The study investigates proactive language control during L1 and L2 production in bilingual and dialect speakers. The population we are investigating is a group of Israeli Arabic speakers who are proficient in Hebrew as an L2 and are diglossic in Modern Standard Arabic and Spoken Arabic. Additionally, I attended one conference and gave four talks at two seminars and two labs.Period | 28 Nov 2022 → 18 Feb 2023 |
