Description
The International Conference on Shock and Impact Loads on Structures (SI) is an important event among international academics, practitioners and researchers. Inaugurated in 1996 in Singapore, this highly successful Conference series has been held subsequently once every 1 to 2 years in cities such as Australia in 1997, 2005 & 2009 (Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide respectively), China in 2002 & 2007 (Changsha and Beijing respectively), Japan in 2011 (Fukuoka), Canada (Ottawa) in 2015, and Singapore in 1999, 2001, 2013 & 2017. The 13th SI (SI19) will be held in Guangzhou, China in 2019. It will be hosted by Guangzhou University and University of Technology Sydney under the Chairmanship of Prof. Fengming Ren, Prof. Chengqing Wu and A/P TatSeng Lok.
