Structured Hybrid Materials for Intensified & Electrified Adsorptive Separation

Activity: Talk or presentationTalk or presentation at a conference

Description

Structured adsorbents such as monoliths have clear advantages in high flow adsorptive separations. When they are used for the removal of strongly adsorbing species, a combined thermal vacuum swing process might enhance the productivity. Direct electrified heating allows for very fast and localized heating but requires materials that are susceptible for heating methods such as Joule, microwave or inductive heating. In this paper, we will present novel composite structured materials for electrified desorption and regeneration.
