Description
This 3-day intensive workshop focuses on applying Chemical Organization Theory (COT) to model and analyze complex sustainability challenges. COT provides a mathematical framework for identifying stable substructures (organizations) within a dynamic system of reactions and transformations, making it particularly useful for understanding self-sustaining behaviors in ecological, economic, and social systems. Participants will engage in lectures, hands-on sessions using a library specially developed for this purpose, and group activities to learn the theory and develop practical models. The final two days are dedicated to collaborative projects, where participants, guided by the professor, will apply COT to a real-world sustainability problem of their choice.Period | 13 Jan 2025 → 15 Jan 2025 |
