The International Workshop on Teaching with Data Rights, hosted by the Law, Science, Technology & Society (LSTS) Research Group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) on Friday 9 February 2024 has brought together educators and researchers with experience or interest in using data rights – and notably General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) data subject rights - in their teaching, as well as experts helping to understand better the potential and challenges of actively using data rights in education.
