Presentation of dr. Roeland Goorts on his recent monograph (Leuven UP, 2019) in the peer reviewed series Avisos de Flandes. Dr. Goorts treated the institutional organisation of the prince-bishopric of Liège, its position within the Holy Roman Empire, and its policy of neutrality towards France, the Dutch Republic and the Habsburg Monarchy.
