The Department of Applied Linguistics (TTKA) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel offers
Bachelor's and Master's programs in Applied Linguistics, Translation, Interpreting and
Journalism. The TTKA Department has two internationally oriented Research centers that want to highlight the multilingual context of Brussels: BIAL, The Brussels Institute of Applied Linguistics, and BIJU, the Brussels Insitute for
Journalism Studies.
