About us
The EU-China Higher Education Research Center (ECHE) is established as a research center and platform in Vrije Universiteit Brussel to facilitate research and collaboration on higher education issues among European, Chinese and other international HEIs. The mission of ECHE is to conduct research in the area of higher education; to facilitate research collaborations between European and Chinese higher education institutions & beyond; and to promote mutual understanding about the educational systems, educational innovations, policies, governance, academic leadership, new technologies, practices, and cultural issues related to higher education and other fields of training and education in the contexts of EU, China and beyond.
EU-China Higher Education Research Center includes both VUB members and members from other partner HEIs. Currently, ECHE has over 30 external research members.
