Organisation profile
A concrete goal is to set up projects jointly (in the event of an opportunity for renewal of the IUAP project, if not through other research projects, such as the FWO) and involve more closely than currently VUB research unit in the design and development of the initiatives in the IUAP such as the series 'Studies in European Urban History, 1200-1800' at Brepols publishing house and specific study days and colloquia that often provide themes and copy for the publication series. This series, of which the first part appeared in 2003, currently contains 20 titles (several are in preparation) and has a clear international appeal in the field of urban history.
