Research interests

I am ALITANE Abdennabi, PhD in geology and hydrological engineering, Speciality “ Geomatics, hydrological and environmental modelling” from the Moulay Ismail University Meknes (UMI), Morocco, and from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium. My doctoral thesis was entitled “ Spatio-temporal Analysis of Water Quality, Water Balance, and Water Erosion in the R'Dom Watershed: Implications for the Sustainable Management of Water Resources”. I have worked on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in the context of university institutional cooperation, and I have also worked in the VLIR-UOS project on the application of the SWAT model to assess the impact of climate change (CC) and pollution on water and soil resources in northern Morocco.  During my academic and professional career, I have worked on a number of projects relating to integrated water resource management, hydrology, hydrogeology, hydrological modelling, climate change and environmental geomatics. I have obtained a Master's degree in Geology 'Geosciences, Mineral Resources, and Geomaterials' from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fez.
