Abraham Alem has completed his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Adama Science and Technology University and his master's degree in Electrical power engineering at Bahir dar University, Technology Institute, Ethiopia. For the past four years, he worked as a lecturer at Jimma University, Technology institute under the faculty of Electrical and computer engineering. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in MOBI's battery innovation center at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). My research interest focuses on renewable energy technologies, energy storage technologies, in particular, battery energy storage systems, and second-life battery utilization for different stationary applications.
