Drs. Arturo Quiroz Marnef (°13/06/1997) obtained his master's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy option sports physiotherapy at the VUB in 2021 with great distinction. Since March 2021, Arturo has been working on his first European project: FORTIPHY, where he was responsible for creating the experimental intervention. FORTIPHY investigates the effectiveness of physical activity combined with protein-rich fortified meals in elderly people living independently at home. Since September 2022, he has been working with the University of Bern as a 100% doctoral researcher on his second European project: BOW2L study. The BO2WL study is an international study that, together with the University of Bern, studies the effectiveness of a combined nutrition and exercise intervention in people with chronic low back pain (CLBP) and obese or overweight.
