Elise Vanbeuren

I obtained my Bachelor in Applied Health Sciences (Howest) and my Master of Science in Health Promotion in 2022 (UGent). In 2023 I obtained my Master of Arts in Gender & Diversity (interuniversity). Last year I worked as a scientific collaborator in a research project ActiveAge@home (interuniversity).

 

My PhD focuses on creating and evaluating compassionate workplaces. The aim of the study is to conduct research in creating warm and supportive work environments that offer support to people who are going through End-of-Life experiences (serious illness, caregiving, death, bereavement).

 

I am part of the COCO team as well as the End-Of-Life care research group and the BRISPO-research group.
