In 2013, Geertje van Duijnhoven started working at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel as a management assistant at the End-of-Life Care Research Group, Department of Medical Sociology, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy. There she has been doing the administration for several international and national research projects: CAPACITY, INTEGRATE, PACE, Euroimpact and FLIECE. At the Avans Hogeschool in Breda, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts. In view of that course she followed a one year exchange program at the Slade School of Fine Arts in London (University College London). Further she has a bachelor diploma in Classical Singing, obtained at the Artesis Hogeschool in Antwerp. In her spare time she studies Arabic.
