Dr. Ir. Gwenny Thomassen is Assistant Professor at the VUB. She holds a master degree in Bioscience Engineering and a PhD in Applied Economics. Her research involves the assessment of sustainable systems, including methodologies such as life cycle assessment, material flow analysis and techno-economic assessment.
She teaches courses at the interface of sustainability science and applied economics such as Social Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Economics.
