Personal profile

Expertise

Water management is of crucial importance in the context of climate change. My research interests lie in climate science and more specifically the role of human water management , like large dams, in the changing climate. Therefore, my PhD deals about the impacts of large dams on the climate at the local, regional and global scale. By including the representation of dams in an earth system model, I want to quantify the total effect of man-made reservoirs on the 20th century climate.
