Progressive Evolutionary Woldview. Atheistic materialistic worldview based on evolutionary data and principles such as -evolving complexity -variation and selection -increasing ratio of cooperation/agression -increasing predominance of quality of life over survival as selection criterium (paradigm shift from survival to quality of life. Anamnestic Comparative Self Assessment (ACSA), a self anchored (biographical)method for the measurement of subjective wellbeing. It was proven more sensitive and less (cultural) bias-prone than conventional methods. J. of Happiness Studies 2006. In press) The diethylstilboestrol (DES) Syndrome as a prototype of human teratogenesis (adenosis, uterine malformations) and tumourigenesis (clear cell adenocarcinoma (CCA) of the vagina and cervix) by xenoestrogens. On the basis of epidemiological studies, we have established that CCA - has a twin-peaked age distribution, which raises concerns as for a second epidemic of CCA among post-menopausal DES daughters (Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the vagina and cervix. An update of the Central Netherlands Registry showing twin age incidence peaks. HANSELAAR A., VAN LOOSBROEK M., SCHUURBIERS O., HELMERHORST Th., BULTEN J., BERNHEIM J. Cancer 79: 2229-2236, 1997.) - contrary to common beliefs, the secundary prevention (by early cervico-vaginal smear) diagnosis)of CCA is quite effective (Cytopathology of clear-cell Adenocarcinoma in Dutch young women.
