I am Dr. Jessie Gevaert specializing in Sociology of Work and Employment. I earned my PhD from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in September 2022, focusing on the job quality and well-being of the (solo) self-employed. Currently, I serve as a postdoctoral researcher at BRISPO, where I specialize in the topic of self-employment, their job quality and their health. I also lead and collaborate in international and national projects on platform work, job quality, health outcomes from work and the impact of digitalization on work.
