  • Geochemistry: Mechanical and chemical fossil preparation. Apatite sampling on fossils. Macro- and micro-chemistry (separate phosphate from apatite). Chemical pre-treatments (remove organic matter and calcite). Precise small weighting. Mass spectrometer analysis: Isotope ratio mass spectrometer (EA-Py-CF-IRMS: pyrolyse of phosphates; acid dissolution + CF-IRMS: combustion of carbonates).

 

  • Paleontology: Knowledge acquisition on a large variety of vertebrate (Dipnoi, therapsids, amphibians, pareiasaurs, archosauromorphs) for various interpretations: (1) Paleoenvironment: Fine and large scale paleoclimate (temperature and precipitations) reconstructions. (2) Thermophysiology: Body temperature estimation for several groups of therapsids. (3) Paleoecology: Interpretation of diet and lifestyle of Permian tetrapods (Endothiodon, Anteosaurus, middle Permian pareiasaurs).
