My PhD esearch project (funded by FWO) at LSTS focuses on the role of data subject rights when personal data is being transferred outside of the European Union. My research interests lay in data subject rights, the fundamental right to data protection, data transfers under the GDPR and LED, data transfer mechanism, extraterritoriality of EU data protection law and comparative law.
