Personal profile
Research interests
Ph.D. in Economics and Political Economy, currently Marie Curie Fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Department of History. My research focuses on economic development and economic history. I investigate the structural determinants of long-run economic development from the Classical age to the dawn of the Industrial Revolution using quantitative methods. My current work delves into the role of climate, environmental factors, and institutions in shaping agricultural productivity, demography, and the urbanization process.
