Personal profile

Currently involved in the evaluation and optimization of quantitave MRI, more specifically using the concept of Synthetic MRI whereby the quantitative maps of the magnetic properties of the tissue, such as proton density, T1 and T2 relaxation time, are used to segment images and to calculate new contrasts.

This is currently being applied to brain tissue, both in adults and neonates.
