My research in medical imaging spans translational projects in medical imaging physics, radiation dosimetry and engineering with a focus on the development and implementation of advanced imaging technologies for diagnostic and interventional radiology. Current research topics include: imaging physics, spectral CT techniques and functional applications for oncology, dynamic 4D-CT applications for biokinetic modelling, optimizing the use of contrast administration in CT imaging (safety and image quality), radiation dosimetry from medical applications, radiation protection, neuro MRI applications and fMRI.

 

Current research topics are:

- basic imaging physics

- quality control in radiology

- iterative reconstruction in CT imaging

- optimizing the use of contrast administration in CT imaging (safety and image quality)

- neuro MRI applications,
