Personal profile
Expertise
After working as a spatial planner in the field of urbanism for 12 years, with a specialty in the built environment, Shary decided she wanted to focus more on research that’s aimed at making daily (urban) life more sustainable. First as a PhD candidate and now a post-doc researcher at MOBI, her research work is centered around stakeholder engagement processes for multi-energy ecosystem initiatives such as the set-up of energy communities. She uses her experience as a project leader to set up participation trajectories and bring stakeholders together to create solutions that can be widely supported, to guarantee a successful implementation.
