Description

The Suzuki-Okada Memorial Award is an honorable award given once a year to individuals and groups active in the field of holograms, in accordance with the wishes of the late Prof. Masane Suzuki and the late Prof. Katsuyuki Okada, who were pioneers in holographic recording technology.
The technical award is given to a person or group who presented at the HODIC conference, or other academic conferences (co-)hosted/sponsored by HODIC.
It was awarded for the work of Takashi Nishitsuji and David Blinder for creating the field of wireframe holography and for publishing many of the following research results.
