A study into the social production and reproduction of taste.

This doctoral study will try to map the taste pattern that emerge from an analysis of a representative survey of the Flemish population and how these patterns are linked to the social structure itself. Central ideas of sociologist Pierre Bourdieu will be applied to a Flemish context using both statistical analysis and a series of depth-interviews.
