Balancing power and ideals: Leadership for a humane society

The project is interdisciplinary. On the one hand, it combines academic research with policy prescription. So, while departing from fundamental research questions, the aim is to be policy relevant. On the other hand, the research combines political sciences with economics and international studies. This very holistic approach, broad yet not superficial, makes it stand apart in a research environment that is increasingly compartmented and overspecialized.
