Career guidance and education for children in cultural and economic deprived regions

Some Eastern European countries have no tradition in career guidance and education. The lack of a sypport system is in particular a problem in rural and economic deprived regions. Guidance structure are inexistent and teachers cannot take over this role because they lack an adequate training. Also the lack of adequate career guidance material and career education programmes is a major problem. Within the framework of this project a distance learning course is developed for the training of teachers. In this course suggestions are made for to develop adequate programmes and guidance materials.
