Project Details
Description
This project seeks to assess the relationship between economic and human rights development, especially in the light of the experience of China. It will take into consideration not only China, but also provide a broad comparison which will situate China in a global context of developments in Asia and other regions. It will assess the degree to which there is a relationship between economic and human rights development, and whether China must be conform to a universal model of human rights development.
The project will result in a series of papers and opinion pieces and a seminar to be organized in Brussels on the subject.
