Contract for Intellectual services relative to OECD PORT-CITIES project.

The Public Governance and Territorial Development Directorate will produce a publication entitled Global reports and urban development. The book will assess the possibilities and challenges for global ports to be a driving force for urban development. The publication will outline the performance, impact and future developments in relation with different port-citiesS. It will analyse policies to strengthen the performnace of port-cities, considering that several costs connected to ports are usually local, whereas many benefits will have spillover effects to other areas? Finally, it will assess governance models, including financing and coordination mechanism, with respect to port-cities.
