CONTRBUTION TO A STUDY OF EP INTERACTIONS AT HERA MAINTENANCE BUDGET

Project Details

Description

This programme ensures a participation into the running costs in DESY of
the HERA-H1 experiment. The general performance of the H1 detector and of
the COP chambers, which are under the responsibility of the Belgian group
is very satisfactory. The Belgian group (IIHE/ULB-VUB, UIA)
contributed particularly in the measurement of the F2 structure function
of the proton in the analysis of diffractive interactions at high Q2 and
in the measurement of the multiplicity distribution in deep inelastic
scattering.
