Description

The project is a collaboration between the teams of R. Cunin (MICR/VUB), of L. De Vuyst (IMDO/VUB) and of A. Goldbeter (Theoretical Chronobiology/ULB). It consists in the construction of a mathematical model for the biosynthesis of arginine and its regulation in E. Coli. The project involves both theoretical system modeling and direct experimental methods, with rounds of experimental perturbations of the system, monitoring of parameters (products and metabolites concentrations, enzymatic activities, gene transcription), and further modeling.
