Creation and launch of the Belgian Child Alert plan, abbreviated: Child Alert project (Child Focus)

The aim of the project is threefold:

1) Extension, improvement and streamlining of communication channels needed to rapidly transmit information on extremely worrying cases of child disappearances to the public, in order to rapidly collect reliable testimonies from citizens, thus supporting law enforcement investigations.
2) Updating of structures and procedures aimed at resolving national and cross-border dissapearances of children.
Enhance compatibility, and create possibilities for collaboration, with Child Alert systems in other countries, with special attention to neighbor countries.
