Project Details
Description
The aim of this work is to define different profile of response, different immunotypes that will be related to the clinical manifestations. These defined immunotypes should help the clinicians to differentiate infected healthy children from those who develop active tuberculose. In addition, a follow-up study will be performed in children with active tuberculose in order to characterize the immunologic response during the treatment. The aim is to identify an immunotype that could be used as a biomarker of a good response to the treatment and therefore be used for the monitoring of the treatment efficacy.
