It has been proven that the set of properties of a physical entity forms a closure structure, which is a topology whenever the physical entity is a classical physical system. For quantum systems the closure structure is strictly a generalization of a topology. The aim is to investigate the traditional quantum axioms of orthocomplementation, atomicity, weak modularity and the covering law within this correspondence with closure structures.
