Drawing up a plan for the implementation of the guideline on the occupational therapy approach to maintain the functionality and social participation of the physically frail older person living at home

The present assignment concerns the development of a Belgian guideline with recommendations for the occupational therapy approach to maintain the functionality and social participation of the physically frail elderly person living at home. On the one hand, the assignment consists of the development of an evidence-based guideline on the ergotherapeutic approach to maintain the functionality and the social participation of the physically frail elderly person living at home (lot 1).

On the other hand, the assignment consists of the development of a plan for the implementation of the guideline on occupational therapy approach to maintain the functionality and social participation of the physically frail elderly person living at home (lot 2).

At the same time, a strategy for implementation on a larger scale is elaborated. This plan is based on existing models from abroad and adapted to the Belgian care context. The implementation proposal is written out and made available in Dutch and French.
