Empowering for Justice: Rule of Law; Role of Hope

Project Details

Description

This project aims to rebuild legal education in Gaza and strengthen legal training in Palestine by integrating international law, forensic documentation, and digital learning. Through legal clinics, citizen-science evidence collection, for UN Special Rapporteur and ICC case-building, it empowers citizens, students, legal professionals, and human rights defenders to actively engage in global justice mechanisms.
The project fosters sustainable legal education pathways and enhances institutional capacity, ensuring that Palestinian voices contribute to international legal accountability efforts. It introduces innovative methodologies, including
experiential learning, socio-legal research, and interdisciplinary collaborations
between law, architecture, urban studies, and media studies/journalism. These approaches bridge forensic evidence collection, urban destruction analysis, and investigative reporting, equipping future legal professionals with the tools to document, analyze, and advocate for justice at both national and international levels.
