Epidemiology and biological markers of type 1 diabetes (<40 years): identification of subjects at risk for participation in prevention trials

Through a combination of epidemiological, clinical and biological studies, the proposed project aims to further monitor the incidence of T1D and T2D and to refine the classification and prediction of the disease using biological and anthropometric markers with a view to studying (variations in) the natural history of the disease process and the identification of objective criteria for the selection and follow-up of participants in innovative prevention studies into (complications of) type 1 diabetes.
