EPISTAT: A methodology from epidemiology and statistics in an interactive ICT learn environment

Epistat concerns the elaboration and evaluation of an integrated learn approach for epidemiology and statistics in the second bachelor of medicine. For each medical student it is essential he can interpret scientific medical research results. Theoretical lessons are not sufficiant. Each student has to apply hid knowledge in a practical way.
Students learn to work together in small groups and they learn to report and to present. EPISTAT follows the concept of competency and flexible learning. ICT possibilities are used in an optimal way. The project will realise a content funded and pedagogical and didactical methodology which can be extended to other courses and groups of students.
