How do we, as consumers of this vast load of
information, filter the news to decide what is accurate and what constitutes misinformation? InfoReady adopts a three-tier approach as follows: (a) it will enhance the digital skills of adults, related to filtering and
identifying misinformation, (b) utilise inclusive and digitally enhanced pedagogies to support adults’ learning, as well as
sense of safety and information literacy, and (c) implement a participatory action research methodology through the
establishment of a user-scrutiny panel consisting of adult educators and professionals, experts in media and information
communication
