Project Details
Description
The aim of this project is to research, both on humans as on animals, the effect on effort on parameters who are connected to neuroplasticity.
Special focus lies on the importance of different effort protocols and training (endurance and strength training) on different populations, going from healthy test persons to eldery.
Further, not only training and performance parameters will be registered, but there will be cognitive measurings such as reaction time tests and socalled 'executive' functions (colour stroop test, flanker test, gonogo test).
Also there will be testing of periferical paramaters to investigate the possible influence of effort and training, but also cognitive skills, and possible links.
