Description
The most economic way to obtain a large computing infrastructure is to use a large number of standard PC units and use these in parallel. In GRID computing these PC units and storage capacity are spread over multiple administrative domains and geographical areas. Many users can access this network simultaneously. Each user can gain access to the totality of the resources (computing capacity, memory, software, storage, ...) that are part of the network. The aim of the present project is to contribute to the development of the Grid middleware to make a large scale grid application possible, and take part in a Grid test bed
