Heterogeneous Catalysis: from material to reactor.

This proposal for cofinanciering od an STWW project, in collaboration with KU Leuven and U Gent, aims at the development of a new famildy of catalysts for fine chemistry. Super bases and super acids on inorganic supports will be developed and special attention goes to implementation in novel microstructured catalyst structures and reactors. Retrofitting in existing stirred tank reactors will also be studied in autoclae reactirs in CHIS. Two test reactions will be studied.
