Project Details
Description
OPTIMESH responds to the needs of the thermal grid industry (1) through an innovative roll-out methodology for modern
heating and cooling networks exploring, designing, monitoring and managing thermal networks in a multi-energy
context and (2) through new technologies for the next generation of such networks (6th generation multi-energy
net) including multi-agent strategies of artificial intelligence for energy trading between prosumers, digital twins
of buildings and their substations, and tools and measurements for the design and operation of such a network. The valorisation
of the new methodology and technologies developed in OPTIMESH will be supported by different case
studies, including one in a living lab.
