Description
The list of general objectives of the TECOTON project can be summarized as:
1. To make eco-friendly concrete products by combination of innovative material technologies such as textile reinforcement, alkali-activated mortars, and carbonated binders.
2. Produce an industrial production process for Textile Reinforced Cement (TRC) Composites, including the challenge of vertical casting -> thinner and lighter panels.
3. Exploring the lower limit for ultrathin concrete walls (challenge for a height of 3 m), both structurally and technologically.
4. Develop ecological matrix tuned for TRC using low impact mortars.
5. Enhance and speed up carbonatation & reinforcement of beams using textiles.
6. Increase market awareness about eco-textile-concrete products.
