Description
The foundation of this course package is an expression of the growing interest in comparative research on energy flow, structure, functioning and and response to human impact on marine ecosystems. The courses concentrate on stressed ecosystemssuch as mangroves, coral reefs, seaweed and seagrass beds, estuaries and beaches. Focusses are on the ecological aspects of the competitive utilisation of these tropical coastal zone systems.
